• Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers (including from Google or Apple sign-in if you use them).
• Profile data you provide: age, gender, height, weight, goals, activity level, dietary preferences, and language.
• Usage data: food scans, photos you submit for analysis, nutrition logs, weight entries, activity logs, achievements, and recipe interactions.
• Device data: basic device type and app version, used for support and diagnostics.
• Support data: messages, name, and email you submit through Contact Support.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

• To provide food analysis, nutrition estimates, recipes, progress tracking, and personalized recommendations.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To respond to support requests and improve the app.
• To send transactional messages (e.g. password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Food images and text you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers solely to generate analysis results. We do not sell your data or use it to train external models.

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), with your consent (optional features like Daily Inspiration or shared anonymized stats), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and improving it.

We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf:

• Cloud hosting and database (Supabase / Lovable Cloud).
• AI inference providers used to analyze food.
• Email delivery (Resend) for transactional and support messages.

We do not sell personal information.

We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you delete your account from Profile → Delete account, we permanently remove your authentication record and personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on where you live (including under California CCPA/CPRA, EU/UK GDPR, and other applicable laws) you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly inside the app, or by emailing fignalemail@gmail.com.

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, scoped database access via row-level security, hashed passwords). No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using Fignal you understand your data may be transferred outside your country of residence.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
